Airport Services
Includes a wide variety of roles in support occupations at airports. Many of these workers deal directly with the public and others perform behind-the-scenes maintenance and cleaning services that keep public and private areas of airports operating efficiently.
Food Services
Includes a wide range of occupations preparing and/or serving food and beverages in one or more of a variety of food service environments, including industrial kitchens, restaurants, food counters, hotels and others.
Accommodation
Includes jobs working in hotels, casinos, theme parks, cruise lines, and other facilities that help customers meet their leisure and recreational needs. Many jobs in this industry involve dealing with customers face-to-face in a variety of ways.
Retail Trade
Includes sales and services that help customers select and purchase products. Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
Personal Services
These occupations run the gamut from childcare and gaming services, to hair and makeup, animal care and funerals.
Entertainment
Includes occupations and support roles in motion pictures, broadcasting, photography and the performing arts.
Transportation & Warehousing
Roles primarily engaged in transporting passengers and goods, warehousing and storing goods, and providing services to establishments engaged in such work.
Manufacturing
Defined as those jobs that participate in the creation of new products directly from raw materials or components. These jobs are usually in a factory, plant or mill but can also be in a home, as long as products, not services, are created.
